Comedy Block Party hosted by Chris Spencer at The Miracle Theater

A restored 1930s movie house on Market Street with a real bar and 500-ish seats: comedy, jazz, film screenings and the shows that feel like the whole block came out.

Downtown Inglewood parking: metered street spots on Market Street and the city lots behind it (check the posted hours; most are free after 6pm). The Metro K Line Downtown Inglewood station is two blocks away, which makes the Miracle the easiest venue in the city to reach without a car. Doors are usually an hour before showtime.

Eat in the city first. Nearby: Woody's Bar-B-Que, The Serving Spoon, KUKU Cafe, Three Weavers Brewing Company, Six Seven Five Lounge. See the full Inglewood food list.

Smart casual works at the Miracle and YouTube Theater; it is a night out, not a stadium. Bring ID for the bar.
