Awakening opens before dawn and stays open past most dinner services, which makes it the odd-hours coffee shop of downtown Inglewood. Strong espresso, matcha, ginger drinks and signature lattes come out of an enclosed patio with a neon, cyberpunk look.
There is breakfast and light lunch (smoked salmon bagels, muffins) with vegetarian and non-dairy options, and a coworking space with phone booths on the second floor for day-pass users. A good landing spot before a Market Street walk.
