Market Street (Downtown Inglewood)

Market Street (Downtown Inglewood)

Market Street is Inglewood's original main street, running south from Manchester Boulevard. The 1949 Fox Theatre at 115 N Market, where Shirley Temple attended the opening, is on the National Register and its marquee still anchors the block; the restored Miracle Theater, Woody's and The Wood are a few doors down.

The city's Global Village Murals project is painting three large murals at Market and Manchester by local Grand Griot artists. Walk it, grab coffee on La Brea, and finish at Grevillea Art Park. Some storefronts are in transition as the corridor redevelops.

Address: Market St & Manchester Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90301

Hours: Public street; verify mural completion status
