Coni'Seafood

Open since 1987 and now run by the founder's daughter, Connie Cossio, Coni'Seafood is one of the most celebrated Mexican seafood restaurants in Los Angeles. It appears in the Michelin Guide and is a fixture on every critic's list of essential LA mariscos.

Order the pescado zarandeado, a whole butterflied snook grilled over the fire, plus aguachile, shrimp ceviche and the camarones borrachos. Ask to sit on the enclosed back patio. Shrimp and fish are brought in from Sinaloa and Nayarit.
