Opened December 30, 1967 and designed by Charles Luckman with a cable-suspended roof and no interior pillars, the Forum was home to the Showtime Lakers and the Kings until 1999. It was nicknamed the Fabulous Forum by Chick Hearn and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
After a 2014 restoration it became a music-first arena holding up to 18,000, and Clippers owner Steve Ballmer bought it in 2020. Everyone from Led Zeppelin to today's headliners has played here; the red exterior at Manchester and Prairie is pure Inglewood.
