Intuit Dome may be the newest major arena in Inglewood, but the best way to visit it is to treat it as part of the city rather than an island.
The arena at 3930 W. Century Boulevard opened as the home of the LA Clippers and now carries a schedule that moves easily between NBA basketball and major concerts. LA28 has also selected it for five-on-five Olympic basketball in 2028, which means the building’s biggest international moment is still ahead.
The first practical step happens before you leave home. Intuit Dome tells visitors that digital access and in-arena purchases are built around the LA Clippers + Intuit Dome app. The venue also advertises free Intuit Dome shuttles; drivers purchasing arena parking are instructed to complete a vehicle profile. Download and set up what you need before entering the event zone rather than doing it on the sidewalk.
The next decision is food. There is food inside the arena, but eating in the city first gives you a much better introduction to where you are. Our restaurant guide near Intuit Dome covers Two Hommés, Dulan’s, The Serving Spoon, Brolly Hut and other local options. Current Los Angeles Times coverage also points visitors toward Banadir Somali Restaurant, Coni’Seafood, Little Belize, Sunday Gravy, Woody’s, Phillips and more across Inglewood.
THE DOME IS NEW. INGLEWOOD ISN'T.
Wear the city, not just the event.
On concert nights, arrive with enough time to let the neighborhood be part of the experience. The September 2026 calendar alone places Maná, Kehlani, Rod Wave and aespa within a little more than two weeks; subsequent months add TLC and Salt-N-Pepa, Young Miko, Bryson Tiller, Phoebe Bridgers, Three Days Grace and Stevie Wonder. January 2027 brings a particularly large ten-show Olivia Rodrigo run. Each of those audiences creates a slightly different version of an Inglewood night.
On Clippers nights, the same advice applies. Instead of treating the arena as a drive-in, read our Inglewood visitor guide, pick a local restaurant and give yourself enough time that traffic does not dictate the entire evening.
It is also worth noticing the history around the building. Just north sits Kia Forum, whose first event was in 1967 and whose architecture is historically recognized. Farther into the city are Market Street, Randy’s giant doughnut and the neighborhoods that existed before either Intuit Dome or SoFi. Our Forum history and Inglewood history guide put the new arena in that longer timeline.
And then there is 2028. The official LA28 competition schedule currently shows Olympic basketball sessions at Intuit Dome beginning July 12, before the July 14 Opening Ceremony, and continuing through the medal rounds at the end of the Games; the schedule is explicitly subject to change. That makes today’s visitor guide the foundation for a page that can keep gaining depth as the Games approach.
Intuit Dome is worth seeing on its own. But from Be Inglewood’s point of view, the bigger story is what happens when a visitor walks out and realizes there is an entire city around it.
